I bought Organic Sencha and Matcha. This is the “Smile ; ) Tea”. If you drink it, your smile will overflow. When you serve tea to guests, they always say that it is a delicious tea with a "smiley face". The reason is that the fragrance of fresh tea leaves drifts from the moment the tea package is opened, and when brewed, it dances with a great aroma and bright green color. This tea is easy to drink without astringency. Smile Tea has the kind of safe and high quality organic tea grown in Kagoshima where the mild climate but it is a volcanic region with mineral-rich, fertile soils.

Wow, this matcha is stunning! Beautiful deep green color, sweet, creamy and grassy. Love the resealable bag instead of messy tins, and easy on the wallet, 40g can last 3 - 6 months. Customer service was super fast with resolving shipping issue, replacement arrived next day! I have tried Ippodo Sayaka $35/40g which was too seaweedy, Maeda-en $22/ 28g weak, 108 Matcha Saro (available in taiwan) $10.55/30g bitter and yellow. Some “premium” brands cost a kidney, but this is the 2nd cheapest out of 8 brands I compared. This is my new favorite for sure, and great for beginners and matcha lovers alike. So happy to find and support small family owned tea house directly!

It's become the only matcha I actually drink because everything else tastes pretty bad compared to this. It's so smooth and buttery and has notes of peach and passion fruit, and very little bitterness or grassy notes. I love shaking it on ice in the summer as well as using a frother to mix it with oat milk hot or cold. It's definitely the best matcha available for a very reasonable price!

As soon as I opened the bag, I could tell I got a good matcha. It was bright, vibrant green, no clumps and it frothed so easily. It tasted smooth and flavorful. I'm really happy with my purchase and will be buying more when I'm low on matcha. Highly recommend!
